A first order should be small enough to check and clear enough to repeat.

A simple path

1. Send the part, the vehicle, and your destination.
2. Review the quotation: description, quantity, price basis, and lead time.
3. Order a sample or a trial quantity.
4. Check the goods against what was written, then talk about a repeat order.

Payment and inspection

Use a normal trade payment you are comfortable with, and ask for photos before shipment. Third-party inspection is available when you want an outside check and will cover that cost.
